Who I am
My name is Dennis J. Mark. I am a solo practitioner with over 20 years of experience in criminal defense, family law, real estate, and personal injury. Formerly, I was a detective for the District Attorney's office and a Legal Aid worker for Michigan's Domestic Violence Unit. Both of these experiences serve me well in my present practice. Having worked for the state, I am familiar with the criminal justice system. Working for the Domestic Violence Unit gave me an understanding of the dynamics of abuse and what a person has to do to escape it.

Who I Serve
My clients are my highest priority. Since I'm the one that they hired to help them, when they call the office, I'm the one who answers their questions. If I'm out, I'm the one who promptly returns their calls.
A Few Words about Money
I am not the least expensive lawyer you can find. However, I am very cost-effective. My fees are reasonable, and I will not accumulate unnecessary fees. I am aware you may be on a fixed income, and I have no desire to make your life more difficult. Coming from a blue collar background myself, I understand the need to be frugal.
My representation is focused and efficient. I have enough experience to know how much time I need to perform basic services. This enables me to charge a flat fee in many instances. We can always revisit the matter if a case goes to trial or complications arise. If that does happen, I am willing to work with you to create a payment plan if needed.
Building a Relationship
